Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Application Fee

The application fee is a non-refundable administrative charge that covers the initial review of your submitted documents, eligibility assessment, and application processing. This fee is payable at the time of application submission.

This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: withdrawal of application, ineligibility determination, or failure to pass the audit.

2. Audit & Certification Fee

The audit and certification fee covers the cost of on-site auditing, auditor time and travel, report preparation, certification issuance, QR code setup, and directory listing.

  • Before audit date: If you cancel your application before the audit date is scheduled, a partial refund of the audit fee (minus 25% administrative charge) may be issued at our discretion.
  • After audit date is scheduled: If you cancel or postpone within 7 days of the scheduled audit, no refund is available. Rescheduling is subject to a rescheduling fee.
  • After audit is conducted: No refund is available after the audit has been conducted, regardless of the outcome (approval, deferral, or rejection).

3. Certification Denied

If certification is denied after an audit, the fees paid are non-refundable. The audit was performed and the cost of conducting it has been incurred. You are entitled to a detailed Corrective Action Report explaining the findings, and you may reapply after implementing the required corrections.

4. Re-Inspection Fee

If corrective actions are required after an audit and a follow-up re-inspection is needed, an additional re-inspection fee applies. This fee is non-refundable once the re-inspection has been scheduled.

5. Suspension or Revocation

If your certification is suspended or revoked during the validity period due to non-compliance, misuse, or violation of terms, no refund of any fees is available. The certification was validly issued and the non-compliance occurred after issuance.

6. Voluntary Cancellation of Active Certification

If a certified business voluntarily decides to cancel its certification before the validity period expires, no refund is provided. The business must cease use of all Satvik Certified marks and will be removed from the directory.

7. Multi-Branch Pricing

For multi-branch applications, fees are charged per branch. If one branch passes the audit but another does not, no refund is available for the branch that did not pass.

8. Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., Satvik Certified is unable to conduct the audit due to our own scheduling failure), a full refund of the audit fee may be provided. Such exceptions are determined on a case-by-case basis by our management team.

9. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@satvikcertified.in within 30 days of the relevant event. Include your application reference number, payment receipt, and reason for the request. We will respond within 10 business days.
